I have an idea. Let's try not to be super aggressive by trying to piss on a ball on strike zero. Let's try to get good contact and put it in play early in the count? Opposing pitchers know the Brewers are going to try to hit 105MPH balls on strike zero, so they use that against them. What happens? Hitters get behind the count right away and then are guessing for strike 2 and 3.

Josh Donaldson would have been a perfect pickup at the deadline but we can't afford that contract. Hopefully a long lockout will solve that issue this offseason.

Yep. You can say that Fried was great and hard to score off but that inning was a big opportunity that we just squandered.

Well, outscored 4-2 in 17 innings and tied 1-1. Everyone knows the offense has to hit. I think they will in Atlanta. This felt destined for at least 4 to me. Braves are a good team.

Look...the reality is, if/until this organization makes a FIRM commitment to get out of their comfort zone and spend $$ on some big bats, they will never win a world series....Unless they get incredibly lucky. The longer they wait to do it while the pitching is still cheap and controllable, the shorter the window gets. Those are just facts.
