Yelich got a pretty awful jump on that one. Maybe he misread it due to the broken bat. It would’ve been a tough play regardless.

I don't see any smoke and mirrors from the Giants offense,  They just take advantage of most gifts and opportunities while the Brewers need at least 2 defensive miscues by the opponent to get a run across most times.

The Flores AB was the bad one. Totally noncompetitive. 

Honestly, assuming this one goes to a loss, being 10-7 is good enough for me. Offense has been brutal.

Can't have both the bullpen giving away late-game leads and the offense consistently putting up 3 or fewer runs. That would be a lethal combination this season.

I'd love to know where the Brewers rank in unearned runs scored.

Been saying with the offense where it is you need at least two more good quality relief arms. You can't pitch Hader every night. If you want to win without offense then you are going to have to find some pitching. Something is going to have to give.

It really has been brutal. Problem is 3 more will make up only 20 games played, and is that enough for Stearns to make another one of his early season bargains? I hope so. We need another bat badly.

Agreed. On desktop now and it's not really an issue. mobile is unusable for me.

Renfroe cost himself the walk by backing out of the box as the 3-0 pitch was coming. I’ll never understand why hitters do that. 
 

Of course he then swung at ball 5 on the next pitch.

Renfroe’s at bats are so undisciplined. It’s hard to watch him sometimes. He’s the absolute encapsulation of lightening in a bottle.

If I was facing upper 90s cheese with little control I probably would want to bail as well.

I guess it could help but when you need to replace about six bats in the lineup with guys who can hit a baseball it doesn't seem to be a top priority.

Brewers can not win if they are going to keep giving away Burnes starts without winning. These games have to be basically auto W.
