This ump seems like a punk, or really he's just bad at his job

The ball to Mouse and strike to Omar are awful to me, but what do I know.

Might want to pause the celebration and back patting and get back to trying to win this game.

They may win, and they may lose but that isn't really the point.  The offense is doing well regardless and that is the point that is being made.  With the pitching, more often than not, they are going to win games with an offense like this and that is what people are reacting to.

Bases loaded with two down. This is his last hitter regardless.

But letting him pitch to Moran is really playing with fire.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

This is a game thread so I’m focusing on the game.

Because he induces a lot of grounders.

8 for 12 with 2 homers for Colin Moran against Houser says otherwise for that particular batter.

Glad to be wrong

You aren’t necessarily wrong. It was a dangerous decision regardless, especially considering Moran’s history against Houser.

If only the Reds had a magician of a pitching coach to harness all this arm talent the Reds have.

Why would a pitcher throw anything other than a high fastball to Hiura at this point? He can't touch anything that isn't a mistake.

Can't imagine his leash is much longer.

He did just belt a home run. Might have given himself an extra week.

I really hope Cousins comes back and looks more like the guy we saw last year, because between him, Gott, Williams, and Hader, our bullpen would be nearly untouchable....
