He also looked down and waved for the trainer to come out.

I’m not a professional lip reader, but it looked like he said “I’m okay” multiple times.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Even a minimum IL stay would be okay by me. What we can not afford is for him to have a Peralta-like absence. That would send us into SP acquisition mode.

I never understand the fascination with the alternating lineup thing. Relief pitchers have to face three batters now anyway so just put the best lineup you can to score the most runs you can and you hopefully don't have to worry about late inning stuff.

I will never understand why the guy that hasn't hit righties in 3 years automatically plays everyday and bats cleanup on top of it. It's why I never wanted him signed in the first place especially for that amount of money. And he's even exceeded my expectations.

You would still have Small Lauer Burnes Houser and Ashby but yeah I would say they would need to do something.

At least it’s an ankle and not an arm or shoulder injury.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Paging Ethan Small, you're needed in Milwaukee.

This is admittedly random, but speaking of minor league pitchers I made the mistake of checking in on Reese Olson (pitcher the Brewers traded away last July for Daniel Norris). For anyone who hasn’t done that, I wouldn’t recommend it. ?

14.0 K/9 and a sub-1.00 WHIP in 40 innings of AA ball. What?! Gulp Miller. Smash can with foot.

Hiura has hit them but plays against lefties who he hasn't hit. It should be a straight platoon  at the dh spot. Why it isn't has to do with money and I'm sure promises made to recruit the player. It makes zero sense though.

Looking like one of those nights tonight where nothing goes our way. Why last night was big. At least you figure you'll have the "A" bullpen available for the rest of the series, including Williams.

Maybe it's me but Wong whole game feels kinda blah. He was a sparkplug last year but he almost seems distracted. Ready for the Turang era.

I'd at the very least call up Turang if Peterson doesn't figure it out soon. Him and Brosseau as your backup infielders would be outstanding.
