The AA team needs bullpen help maybe Suter and Kelley can help them out because neither are helping the Brewers.

The wouldn't seem so bad if we scored more runs.

This didn't age well... in less than an half an hour.

This team is not enjoyable to watch or follow

They’ve only played well in five or six games all year (10%)

I believe scoring runs is more fun than run prevention

We have several DFA candidates - Cain & Suter among the vets

This is more than a slump

Yes, we remain in 1st place in a bad division … but Cards are a better overall team

It is a shame that we didn’t make a trade or promote Turang & Dahl while Adames & Renfroe were on the IL … several games were winnable

It really isn't 100% a Brewers issue.  Baseball in general is a major yawn.  I can't fathom how the league and owners think that having players fail at their job 70-80% of the time is going to keep fans interest.  Offense is down again this year.  There was a spike in HR starting in mid-May so maybe the league is trying to address it (things like moving the mound back can't be implemented mid-year), but they need to juice the ball much more and eliminate the damn humidoor except for the Rockies.  If this crap product continues then this 60+ year fan is DONE.

Wait 'til the Brewers win 2-in-a-row ... your perspective will do a 180-degree spin!  :)

It happens this way for me all the time!  ?

Stearns might want to do something besides thinking of his next job in New York.

He ain’t getting out of that contract this year.

I said it last night, but I'll say it again. There needs to be some accountability on this team starting right now. Specifically for guys like Cain, Suter, etc. I get they may be good "clubhouse guys" but they're just plain terrible. Everyone seems a little bit too complacent imho. So, if we're going to turn this thing around, something must be done, preferably before this weekend where we have a real shot against the Nationals.

Stearns is working a trade for Eric Sogard right now ... don't fret!

Since his “breakout” game in St Louis Cain is 0-22. Kind of shocked he got that many AB’s, certainly didn’t feel like it to me.

My $0.02:  Let them play the shift; flatten the mound.

Jonathan Davis is sitting down there in AAA hitting over .300 and with an .830 OPS. Time to bring him up and get rid of old man Cain.

I agree with both.  Why reward Yelich (and make it seem like he's not as horrible as he is) with an extra ground ball single because he can't actually hit the thing in the air.  That's all banning the shift will do.  Yes.  Lower the mound, move it back, change the ball size.  Everything should be considered to create more action.

I do get the feeling some type of accountability transaction will be coming tomorrow, and I don't mean just Kelley. A signal does need to be sent.

We had two major in season trades by this time last year. Do something.

Meaningless at bat but I hope nothing is wrong with Adames.

My thought is that they were giving Hiura one last AB before shipping him back to AAA.

But then given the way things have been going how shocked could you be if Adames tweaked something while fouling off 100 pitches.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I really think this slump has little to do with who we are playing ... this is all self-induced stuff, IMHO ...

Largely agree. I've always said it isn't so much WHO, but HOW you're playing. Caratini whiffing a third strike nowhere near the dirt, that's two runs. Burnes allowing the pitch count to escalate results in the bullpen starting in the 5th rather than the seventh or eighth inning, which leads to Kelley having to pitch. That's four more. Phillies are playing real well right now, but the way we're playing is a much bigger factor.
