I used to feel like counsel did a great job pulling guys before they blew up, even if it meant pulling guys I thought should keep going. This year his strategy seems to be pull the starter after he hits 100 pitches unless he's close to ending the inning. No strategy at all it seems. Not that it matters probably.

I’ve bleeping had it with this team. This offense is so bad, they’re getting stymied by a guy with the worst ERA in baseball, the defense isn’t good and now the pitching is faltering all of the sudden. When will this nightmare end?

This looks like a good spot to use Kelley and let him throw 100 pitches befofre dumping him.

Another couple days of this and the Brewers will be looking up at every one of the NL teams that started the season as a playoff contender even after being 8-10 games ahead of some of them less than 2 weeks ago.

Love your optimism  hope you are right. Just need to get one. Hard to be optimistic like you when I look at this overall lineup.

This team was never as good as their record was.  They played crap teams. Even if Peralta and Woody were healthy they would still suck.  They can’t hit.

There’s no way to fix this team. Not with our resources. Black holes at CF, 3B, DH. 2 Aces on the shelf. Bullpen isn’t good. I’d love to see Stearns shuffle the deck a bit

I always thought Attanasio had real guts when he decided to fire Yost in the middle of our September swoon in 2008. 
I'm not saying he should go ahead and fire Counsell tonight, but something along those lines needs to be done.
