Good night friends

I’m going to watch an old Western movie

I’ll check the score later

I hate games like this one

Great starting pitching & no offense

I still believe we are an average team playing in a horrible division

Hader's been one of the least-used elite relievers in the game this year. I'm not upset at Counsell for going with him here against the middle of the Cubs' order.

I didn’t say I was upset at using him, but that I was concerned about him.

It’s going to be hard for the Brewers to string together wins if they need the same relievers to finish every one.

Now they go into tomorrow’s game with Alexander starting and a short bullpen to back him up.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

When I started seriously following the Brewers, I got this idea that a typical Brewers loss was 2-1: Good pitching NO offense. I am trying not to embrace that vision.

For as good as everyone praises Davis's defense that was a little league route he ran there.  Absolutely pathetic.

I figure using Hader was wishful thinking that we would walk it off...

When WAS the last time we hit a walk-off? (I know we have.)

That big comeback against the Padres.

Call up Dahl and send Davis down. The guy is clearly a AAA journeyman for a reason.

And who is going to play CF????? McCutchen? Yelich?

He was shaded to RC, and actually pulled up on the ball knowing he wasn't going to get to it to try to play the bounce.  Dude's played in Milwaukee for two weeks and probably hasn't had to play that carom more than once or twice.

It also hit the cement not the padding.

I'd rather bring Cain back than watch this guy.

Da*n.

I was yelling “don’t bounce out” but it didn’t help.

Bill sounding shocked that Hiura's walkoff homer against the Cubs in 2019 was at home.

I wonder how many walk off homers are on the road Bill..... *rolls eyes*

It’s up to Yelich to ground out to second to end it.

Maybe he can get hit by a pitch too.

Seeing his record against Robertson I guess a K is more likely.
