And how far did we get in any of them and make it to the World Series?

If you judge success based on getting to the World Series, particularly for a small-market franchise like the Brewers, you're going to be perpetually disappointed...

To be honest if we had better deeper bullpen we would have made it to,the world series

cc pitched jeffress way too much in that dodgers series

You asked how far we got.    There’s your answer.

I have a sneaky feeling that even if we did make the World Series that year you’d still be complaining about the trade deadline this year

Sure looked like Renfroe slowed down before he got to 1st on that groundball.  Not saying he would have beat it but it would have been awfully close had he not slowed down.

Schroeder's pants are getting a little tight talking about Ruiz's stolen bases,

To be fair, I had to take off my belt.

Stearns better hope that the Brewers don't get shutout tonight. It would not be pretty. Mlb network has killed them pretty much all day about the Hader deal and not adding a single bat.

I'm disappointed in the lack of a bat acquired at the deadline, but I really don't think Stearns cares what the analysts on MLB network think...

Was that a "leg" double by Rowdy?!

Actually it was a ball that the CF dove for and missed and it rolled to the wall. Someone with “legs” probably could have had a triple, but with 2 outs the double was fine.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

We sure do make guys with ERA’s over 6 look good.

So very glad we grabbed us 20 relief pitchers to protect 1-0 and 2-0 deficits.

Don’t mind my hot take lol. I do wish we had Ruiz up and in center though - let’s see what he’s got!

Pittsburgh’s pitcher has a near 6 ERA, and we’re getting shut out. Lovely.

Hard contact or not, we need to get on the scoreboard. Absolutely have to beat up on the Pirates, Reds and Cubs of the world.

Burnes needs some run support.

Nor should he.

Nor should he. Just stating a fact. The narrative is out there that they got worse and did not do enough given their situation. I think tonight would just reinforce that idea.
