Wong's offense has been alright.  Wish we could say the same for the defense he's supplied this year.

Think he see the writing on the wall that he is playing for his next contract the rest of the season.

Gotta imagine a World Series MVP would make him a few extra million, Jorge Soler got 3/36!!

I took me awhile to realize, but Wong's April was JBJ level terrible offensively and since then he's been in line or better compared to his career. Since his May was merely normal numbers his entire season still looked bad for awhile.

With the option at 10 million, it's not even a bad pickup if he keeps hitting. Just kinda concerning how much his defense has dropped off.

Nor should he. Just stating a fact. The narrative is out there that they got worse and did not do enough given their situation. I think tonight would just reinforce that idea.
