I’m confused… is houser hurt again? Or is this to change things up? This doesn’t make sense fighting for a playoff spot

Houser was rushed back when he should still be on rehab assignment and hasn't been good all year. 

Small threw so many pitches in his last start for Nashville he was pulled in the second inning.  A disappointment.

Therefore, Alexander is the best / possibly only option left.
