Williams might not be available tonight. So maybe keeping Rogers as closer?

Possibly but old CC would have went with matchups and I would much rather have Rogers face all the leftys.

I hope someone is almost ready to come in.

How does Craig Counsell manage to pull the wrong string on nearly every move he makes this season?

He has been institutionalized. He has become the same old cookie cutter manager that is afraid to think outside the box with regards to bull pen management.

Maybe it’s because there isn’t one reliable reliever in the bullpen these days.

So, if you need 3 or 4 of them to be perfect to scratch out a win the odds are against you.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Every game for the brewers is just a lifeless slog

Offense has been lousy again tonight. Just two innings (1st and 4th) with any sort of threat or life. Get a great start out of Alexander, but then the bullpen has to walk a tightrope for four innings to try to get the win. That’s a tough script to follow, regardless of roster talent. Still a chance to comeback and win, but that might be catching lightning in a bottle tonight.

Craig Counsell you cannot sit there and watch that happen. You have a 9 man bullpen. It is just not acceptable.

Even though you wouldn’t have done it 99.9999999999% of the time I would have pulled him after the two balls.    Get his rear end of there

Wasn't just that. Subbing Taylor for Mitchell was foolish.

At least we got to 100 million fans.  Please, if you have friends or co-workers from Seattle, let them know how much you appreciate their grandfather for helping us get to this important milestone.
