He did with Woody and Burnes this weekend and it came back to bite him. Peralta they're being careful with as he returns from injury. Houser has also been in the bullpen for a while now and can't go much more than 70, which is where he was at.

Houser likely reached or was close to his max, as he's been in the bullpen for a while now and only got up to around 75 pitches in his rehab.

Mitchell will be a good player in the end, I believe. But Frelick was more deserving of a call-up and would have provided a much-needed element to this team with his contact skills.

As has been true for some time now … I simply exhale & feel relief when we get a win

I’m not sure why I can’t enjoy the games this season … regardless - I’m happy we won today

As is true with all other Brewers fans - here’s hope for monumental collapses to take place in Philly & San Diego

We need all the help we can get to “earn” the final playoff spot

I’d love to see us get hot for a few weeks - a 12 of 15 run would be sweet & would allow us to breathe a little easier in this final month of the regular season

Padres fall to the D-backs 5-0. So, as disappointing as this past weekend was, the D-Backs are just playing really good baseball right now with their young contact hitters. Hopefully they can take another game and we can sweep the Rockies as the pitching matchups the rest of the series set up for that.

Move of the game…CC pulling Rogers with bases loaded in the 8th.
Gotta get back to not just leaving relievers in for their inning or leaving them in to blow up and then pull them too late.  CC used to do this ALL THE TIME before diva Hader blew this up.
