He was stealing that’s why he was easily doubled up

In spring training, Scherzer was purposely doing two throws over to bait the runner into taking a bigger lead.

Was a good steal attempt and if that ball lands for a hit he is on third base.  If Yelich swings and misses he is on 2B.  Just a bad outcome with a line drive out.
