This is where the truth of what the NFL evaluators thought starts showing. It doesn't mean it's right (obviously, nobody knows) BUT all the chatter was WR or TE for Packers. AND NE was going Njigba and the Packers jumped them for Njigba.

We've been drafting defense 1st for years. Doesn't really matter when we continue to employ a DC who doesn't know how to utilize defensive talent.

Steelers didn’t want JSN, either. This is kinda wild, but he’s probably overhyped in a weak receiver class.  I don’t hate what we did, but I wish we would have had this pick in a different year, or that we had found a way to trade down. Oh well, if Van Ness is a Preston Smith, then it’s all good.
