So CC pretty much listened to me. I didn't really expect him to DH Contreras today seeing as he sat on Wednesday. Only complaint I really have is Wiemer hitting a bit too low, but that's small potatoes.

I picked Miley up in a fantasy league for pitching depth, and because he's a Brewer having a good year, just sitting on the waiver wire.

If I start him, he probably gets shelled.  If I bench him, he probably continues his dominance.  I left him on the bench, taking one for the team.

If he is going to DH Contreras in this series it will likely be tomorrow with Burnes on the mound because Burnes has seemed more comfortable with Caratini as his battery mate.

Probably the safe call especially considering the Angels have a team wRC+ of 130 against LHP.

I wish Ohtani was scheduled to start here in Milwaukee.  Even though he'd be tough on the Brewers, he's an opposing pitcher worth coming out to see.

Yep, I’ve gone to a game solely to watch him pitch in past years.

The Brewers offense continues to be the magic elixir for any soft tossing lefty.

In his previous 3 starts Anderson had gone 14 total innings, striking out 7 while allowing 17 runs. Tonight: 6.2 innings, 1 run, 7 Ks.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

His changeup was his most used pitch tonight. 24 swings, 12 whiffs. 50% whiff rate against his changeup. I don't know why/how our hitters are so bad against LHP but it needs to be fixed.
