It is also about time to send Wiemer down.  He just doesn't look ready at all to be facing MLB pitching.

If Frelick were healthy, it would be a lot easier. Particularly when Wiemer has been such a crucial component of our MLB-leading defense.

They were already revived when they swept the Red Sox over the weekend to make it 6 wins in 7 games.

Apparently everyone who wrote them off in April didn’t notice.

They've still got a ways to go due to the hole they dug themselves.

But I think in the back of everybody's mind they still feared the Cardinals.

Does anyone actually enjoy watching Winker at the plate? Just brutal looking ABs from him. 100 PA into the season now and he has 2 barrels.

Including the Brewers players

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

This has the makings of a classic series where the Cardinals slap the Brewers around for 3 days.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

In this dumpster fire division they don’t have that far to go.

Coming into today, Brewers have the 3rd best record in the NL. Not that much of a dumpster fire.

Cardinals also have less series against the NL Central to make it up. Within their capabilities, but far from an easy task.

Yeah, and Contreras had no problem calling the game tonight.

Jesse Winker has to be the slowest running slap hitter in baseball history right? Love by 2nd percentile sprint speed guy being a singles only guy.

Whose bright idea was it to call Varland back up despite his rehab stats?

I think you can only keep him on rehab so long with that kind of “ injury””

I know the Pen numbers for guys are always finicky and can change on a dime from season to season but it's painful to see what Topa and Suter are doing, while we are struggle to put all aspects of our pen together.

Cheap front office saving all that money for…nothing.

So Cards will have a better run differential then the Brewers now? Or close? Lol

what an embarrassment

Better I believe  Brewers will be +3, Cardinals will be +8

Or Tyrone Taylor sucking.

Joey Wiemer has zero business being on a MLB roster, but neither does anyone else.

Your only option is to promote Keston Hiura to play LF (his main position in AAA). However the ungodly defensive drop off by putting him there and moving Yelich to RF would be miserable.

The front office decided to roll the dice on a bunch dumpster dives and rookies. We are stuck with it. Either they turn into something or the ship sinks.
