That Texas lineup is crazy.  Every hitter in the lineup tonight is OPSing over .800 and seven guys hitting .290 or better.  Wowser.

1 hit and 4 walks through 6 against the rookie.

Not many hard hit balls either.

beat goes on versus lefties

I didn't watch the first three innings, but I'm pretty sure that over the last three innings the only pitch that was a strike and wasn't on the edge of the zone was the one that Wiemer ripped for a double.

I"m not dismissing the Brewers struggles against LHP, but he's done a great job of working the edges of the zone tonight.

I’m not saying he didn’t pitch well……but he doesn’t have dominating stuff…at least not what I saw tonight ….certainly some hittable pitches that were either taken, missed  or popped up..

I wonder if Rea could take the mound more than once every 5 days.

An update on something I posted on Saturday. In Rea’s last 4 starts, the Brewers have scored 32 runs. In the 17 other games since the first of those 4 starts they’ve scored a total of 39.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Our woes against LHP would be helped if people who are supposed to hit LHP and have th/o their career hit LHP actually decided to hit LHP (i.e., Brosseau, Mike).

In other news, Adam Wainwright is finally finished...

I don't think he's quite finished.  He isn't very good but still useful. That Rangers lineup is brutal.

Im pretty sure Brosseau throwing left-handed would get a no-no into the 7th inning against us

I'm pretty sure if you set a tee on home plate and someone placed the ball on the tee using their left hand, the tee could pitch six shutout innings

Nah. I'm pretty confident in saying he's finished at this point, and that he has been finished since last September. His peripherals, even coming into this game, are absolutely atrocious and whatever velocity he still had is gone.

Good Grief …

What is our record this year against Lefties?

It’s probably not as bad as I think, but it seems like - this year & last year - if a person has the ability to throw left handed, he should start against the Brewers

Also … What is our record this year against Righties?
