Thank you, MLB.com pulled a fast one on me by changing their process. They put me on today's schedule and I didn't realize it, so I flipped to tomorrow's schedule without noticing.

Thought it seemed weird that Counsell would use Peralta out of the break but it's early and my brain isn't working so good.

Ashcraft is basically just a cutter slider guy now, having mostly ditched the sinker given the hammering it took earlier in the season. Both pitches generate less whiffs as a result, but you need to assert yourself as a hitter on his cutter. It has no vertical movement to speak of, and hopefully results in a few barrels being found tonight

Winning series is nice, but now would be an excellent time for a sweep to actually have a small lead in the division. No surprise though that our record has been very good the last few weeks once we started to score runs again.

If the brewers can hang in there by the end of the month.  (Maybe one or two games back).    They have a decent chance

but this is going to be a tough 2-3 weeks

Winker again not in the lineup against a RHP. Get rid of him already, a replacement could at least pinch run or do something in the field.

The reason he's not in the lineup is because Caratini is catching for Burnes and they still want to get Contreras' bat in the lineup.

Conteras: BA: .262  OBP: .346  OPB: .773

We don't have a lot of guys producing at these levels.

When your LH hitting primary DH doesn't start against a marginal RHP in order for your everyday RH hitting catcher to get in the lineup, your primary DH should be DFA'd.

I never said he shouldn't be DFA'd. I'm just explaining why Winker's not in the lineup against a RHP, because it's the same case as the last time Winker wasn't in the lineup against a RHP.

I honestly like the Nashville batting lineup as much as I like Milwaukee’s

Swap out Yelich & Contreras for a few of the Sounds & it is a better team
