Brewers (Peralta) vs Reds (Abbott): 7/15/23, 6;10pm

Got the win yesterday, which was needed. I believe it was @Brewcrew82 that mentioned one more win against the Reds and the Brewers clinch the season series win. Without game 163, that could be huge for the Brewers down the stretch, just as it was part of what killed the Crew last year with the Phillies.

The unstoppable version of Burnes showed up last night out of the break. It'd be nice to see Peralta do the same tonight as the Brewers try to move into sole possession of first place.

Owen miller has done a good job this year but I really am tired of him as the cleanup hitter.   Get some real hitters or some of the current players need to start performing

They're going to trade guys with an eye on contending next year. So, Flaherty, Montgomery, etc. definitely gone. Remains to be seen with Goldschmidt and Arenado. I doubt it, though.

Just low-key rumors to this point. I suspect even the Cardinals don't know what they're doing to do right now. They have a couple of weeks to figure it out and their play on the field will likely play a significant role in that decision.

Yikes , looking at the bottom of that lineup has to be one of the worst you can see in MLB ! I like Owen  , but as your cleanup hitter , its just ugly . I hope this is a reverse jinx and they hit the crap out of the ball tonight !
