Abbott went 7 shutout innings giving up just 1 hit. The game at AFF still is his only rough outing.

It's part of his offensive game that hadn't yet started showing up at the MLB level consistently - he's always been able to get on base even when he hasn't hit, so his stolen base/baserunning ability has improved his offensive value to help offset the lack of slugging.

Braves rallied with 2 in the seventh (Olson HR) and 3 in the 8th (Riley HR) to go ahead of AZ 6-5. 
 

That offense is scary. 
 

ETA- then after a pitching change Olson added another HR.

Braves take the lead in the 8th on a Riley 3 run shot. Might be good. I doubt the Braves would have lost 8 in a row. Still, not playing their best baseball of the season and we don't have to face Strider or Fried (who is still on the IL).

Although Strider has had some uncharacteristically poor outings of late, I agree, I still want no part of him.
