I don’t know what the other sources show, but using the standards applied to the controversial call on Sunday, according to Game Day the 3-2 pitch to Yelich was a “clear strike” with the ball kissing the top of the strike zone.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Must be nice to be able to be terrible at your job day after day and then show up the next day and be terrible again.

I think he secretly runs this team.

Would be interesting to know how many times each team has had bases loaded and nobody out and didn't score. And how the Brewers compare to everyone else.

Exactly. If you're going to use the box as your be all end all argument on what is a strike or not, then you can't complain about that strikeout.

If he swings at that pitch he probably does nothing with it and at best hope he hits it foul.  That pitch was a ball.

I think the fact that one person told me it looks like a strike and you told me it's a ball illustrates my point that it was too close to take in that situation.

Problem is he just called the same pitch a ball to Suwinski.

Willy Adames, our clean up hitter.

Just let that sink in a bit...

Right. This ump sucks and we should have roboumps. No argument there.

Obviously Brewers had run prevention problems tonight but in the end to me every night is about scoring runs. Until Manesterio goes 0-48 he needs to be in the lineup. You can't throw away ab with this lineup. Anderson needs to go Ty Taylor route.

It sinks in like oil on water... 😕

One thing about the brewers is that it’s worthless to analyze the strength of schedule.

Because they always play to the level of their competition or in some cases below it.
