Cubs fans feel the same way, FTR.

I just went over there. Felt like I was on Brewerfan. Fans are all the same, aren't they? They are not fond of my mancrush, Candelario, anymore.

Fans are all the same. If you want to think you're reading about a 110 loss team, just visit Twins Twitter some time.

Interesting replay review coming up where a reversal could (and should) give the DBacks a run.

The replay review got it right. A sinking liner with men on first and second and two out ruled a catch on the field, but overturned as a trap. With the runners going on contact the runner on second was awarded the first run of the game.

They can award home? That seems new to me. Because he was running on contact, I guess? But Suzuki could have thrown home.

If Suzuki had come up firing and threw a strike to home plate, could that have factored into the call?

I think so but I'm not 100% sure. I was talking to someone on NSBB about how I believe the umpires have discretion to advance/recall runners in these situations because the call on the field was out, which effectively ends the play before it should have ended.

Because the runners were going on contact and Suzuki slid to make the catch, when you see where the runners were when he was still in his slide there is no way he could have gotten up and thrown the runner out.

The replay umpires can, and did, award the run.

if there was any question about a possible play at the plate they could also put the runners back at second and third..

It’s up to Sewald to protect the one run lead.

Correction: before the break the DBacks announcers said Sewald was coming in,  but Gallen is still out there.

One out away with a runner on first, Happ at the plate and Bellinger on deck. 😬

I recommend Gallen get Tauchman and Hoerner and avoid Happ and Bellinger.

Recommendation rejected.

The default guideline for posting on this site is to focus on the Brewers' weaknesses, not the opponents'.

Remember, there can only be one optimism thread.

Getting some of the help from the Snakes that the Giants didn’t give. Nice to see. Time to capitalize.

I have a lot  more faith in Arizona in being competitive than giants.    Giants have just been beat down by their schedule.    They are done

Makes sense to put Tellez at DH to give him a shot or two at the porch in RF.

Even though Dominguez has been hot in his MLB debut I would vote for walking Judge every time up unless and until you get a lead of at least a few runs. With that lineup letting Judge beat you would be criminal
