Are you paying attention?  He was the defensive replacement a couple of innings ago when they PH for Turang.

Oh was he? Damn never realised it. Had to leave for a little bit. Point still stands. AM sucks vs righties

Craig Counsell now 1-5 in playoff series' as a manager and 0-5 in WC games.

He flat out doesn't understand the difference between managing in the regular season and managing in the playoffs.

By the time the playoffs start they are typically playing a much better team. Compiling season wins is a different animal than stacking your blue chips to win a short series that's do or die.

Honestly I can think of two times we maybe had a better team. Colorado and arguably this one.

Well that's it. I hope that stupid champagne celebration was worth it. One of the stupidest traditions in sports, especially for this team that has been there done that only to wet the bed immediately.

I don't think anyone is. This is just the time for angry venting about the guy who owns 39% of the team in the smallest market like there was just a FA available who'd have made these ridiculous seeing eye singles fall for AZ and the Brewers hit into comically bad luck.

Literally nothing has gone the Brewers' way this series. Not gonna win when the baseball gods are peeing on you.

That is not true. Everything that happened in this series was deserved by everyone in this franchise. From the owner not spending more money to a FO who believes that picking up 2nd rate players will turn things around. Even a cheap team/owner like the Twins are more competent than this bunch of boobs.

Its pretty disheartening that a hometown guy like Counsell is looking to bail on us.

No.  It is time.  If any team was in desperate need of a new direction it is this one.

I really wish we had some tough media after a game like this. When Mcalvey asks Counsell a question it's like two buddies on a bar stool.

Whats the difference. Counsell can just tell them he's on his way to manage the Mets anyway.

Another soul crushing exit. The older I get, the less opportunities I have to see this team win one. Massive changes needed and expected otherwise what’s the point.

I appreciate you CC, but this defeat goes in your lap. You made the choices to let Winker bat, let Frelick face a lefty (instead of Wiemer or Perkins) and let Monasterio face a righty (instead of Caratini). Sorry to the team and fans. Thank you all for a great season nonetheless.

Yeah...I'm not blaming Burnes pitching poorly or most of this on Counsell. A couple moves I didn't like, but...c'mon.

I've now seen more road team playoff series clinchers in person in Milwaukee than the Brewers have playoff series wins in their entire existence

Phillies-Braves could be an interesting series.

Couldn’t care less. Baseball is over for me. MLB does an awful job marketing the playoffs and the sport in general.

I don't blame anyone either, and I like CC. Always have.

He was bad this series, though. Not the reason they lost, and he didn't have a lot of good options offensively. But you've got to at least push a few more buttons when your team struggles so much to score.

The diamondbacks hit like 4 or 5 balls 100 million mph yesterday.      I’m so sick of people talking about luck and random.     What a bunch of bull *****

they got beat.    Period.       Their so called great starting pitchers flat out sucked

Diamond backs were the better team in every phase of the game.
