I have been unable to watch and/or listen to any of the first few ST games down here in FL.  All I see is final scores.  To those of you who have been able to see the guys play how do they look?  Other than Freddy should we be concerned about the rotation?  I hope the MLB Network shows a game or 2 of ours this spring.

Most of the guys who will be competing for those rotation spots haven’t thrown yet. Gasser threw a scoreless inning and so did Rea.

Today's and tomorrow's game will be televised by Bally Sports. Even if you can't watch I'm guessing highlights will be posted to YouTube within an hour or so once the game ends.

Non-televised games likely won't have highlights. I'm unaware if opposing teams will have a TV broadcast on days that the Brewers do not have a TV broadcast so I suppose it's not impossible there could be highlights on days where Bally's doesn't have one.

I can't get Bally Sports Wisconsin down here on local cable.  The 2 Bally channels here cover the Rays and Marlins and their ST games are played here in FL.  Once the regular season starts we can order MLB Extra Innings and then we can get all the games aired on Bally Sports Wisconsin.

The broadcast games are available on MLB.TV. It works great when you want to follow a team that doesn't claim your zip code. Just another option to get instead of Extra Innings.

EA Sports...It's in the game...until we arbitrarily decide to shut off the server.

What a catch by Sal to rob Trout. I honestly don't think you can take him out of the OF.

I agree he is a plus defender at each outfield position. Just speaks to his athleticism and versatility that he might be able to help out on the infield defensively in a pinch

Mitchell and Weimer are just as talented in the OF, if not moreso. Chourio is gonna play. They seem intent on Yelich staying in LF. The more Sal can do, the easier it's going to be to write his name into the lineup every day.

Difference is I think Frelick can actually hit in the bigs and I'm very much skeptical of the other two.

Still a lot of time, but I think the team might eventually be best served by just riding with a Yelich-Chourio-Frelick OF.

The fun thing about the Frelick, Mitchell and Weimer is that they all offer ++ defense, while each also having a very different but intriguing offensive profile. The swing-and-miss tendencies with Weimer and Mitchell are concerning, but the raw talent is also pretty evident. Power cures a lot of blemishes in a player's profile, and while Frelick profiles as a more consistent bat, he doesn't bring near the power potential of the other two. He's going to have to be quite the hitter to stick in a corner spot long term in today's MLB.

Frelick isn't a bopper, but he has enough power to be around a 2-3 win player on average (which he was on pace to do last year). Lingering thumb injury really sapped him of his power last year and his ability to turn on inside pitches as he had done successfully in the minors.

With Mitchell and Wiemer, it's are they going to be able to make enough contact for the other parts of their game to even matter? Mitchell has an additional concern with his ability to elevate the baseball...

Obviously you have to give those guys opportunities on the chance they do figure it out, but I think Frelick will prove the best value in the OF at the end of the day. Not a star, but a well above average MLB player.

Black with some nice plays but that arm is well below average for a 3B.

Had plenty of zip on the first one.

Clarke being a bit of a butcher behind home plate this inning. Not framing well and a wild pitch on a ball he should have blocked.

I guess he might have a stronger arm than Madrigal, I'll give you that.

Of 58 guys with at least 100 throws at 3B last year Madrigal's arm strength of 85.1 was 23rd among 3B and the exact same number as Manny Machado. Maybe your eye test isn't as accurate as you think it is.

I'd love to see the source for this
