I agree. McNeil has every reason to be pissed, but no point acting like a 4 year old.

It’s a complete douchebag slide that doesn't happen anymore. As such, these players cover second expecting players to not make douchebag slides. It’s incredibly dangerous when a dude decides to do it these days

If this was the other way around most here would be pretty mad and calling bush and dirty.  Which it was.   Though I'd chalk it up to Hoskins just being a lumbering guy, not actually trying to be a jerk.  Which is likely why he didn't respond and put his head down and took yelling, which he knew he deserved. 

McNeil should play it a bit cooler as long time vet and just turn to the umpire with a complaint rather than getting in his face to fight.  Though I do give him credit for keeping it real

I'm convinced Frelick is nursing a small injury or something. Only explanation for Perkins facing 2 RHP today. Also that slide from Hoskins was dirty.

I'm not saying to go in and intentionally hurt the guy... and hope Hoskins wasn't doing that.  But you can't just stand there like a statue either.  First thing I was taught on DPs is to get out of the way and off the bag

Probably just want Perkins defense in a close game.  Sal no slouch defensively but Perkins better.

Yeah I edited in something late. The tweet said 30.6 mph, but they very likely meant 30.6 ft/sec which is typically the metric used to measure speed in baseball.

Yeah that's probably the explanation. Perkins might be the best defensive OF in the MLB.

Or else we don't want to burn the entire bench....especially without another C after Bauers came in.  He could have hit instead of Turang, but with the lead you use Turang for his defense.
