blowing off work to take in the businessmen's special. Have been wanting to do this for the last few seasons but never made it a priority.

Blue Jays, "Don't try us -OR ELSE- you will suffer the wrath of Tobias!"

I hear this sound, "We won't lose to a Bassitt Hound!  Send him to the Pound!"

There’s something wrong with a lineup that has Sal Frelick batting 5th.

At least there’s Bauers and Dunn backing him up. 🙄

With Contreras, Yelich, and Adames all slumping it’s hard to know where to look for runs.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I'm jealous. I'm swamped at work and I thought about just throwing in the towel today and sitting in my backyard listening to the game.

I’m swamped too,  but was scheduled a while back and normally what happens is that games get cancelled. Looks like I’m working this evening though

Hoskins is slumping too. Ugh.

I didn’t mention him because he’s not even in the lineup today.

A slumping lineup facing the surging Reds this weekend makes me nervous. They will have tough pitchers (Greene and Abbot) going in the first two games.

Tobias will never stick in the bigs until he controls the homerun ball. Almost 2 HR/9

If Bryce isn't a starter then neither is Myers.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Turang is too.

“Another “at’’em ball for this Brewers offense” says Levering as Bauers hits a sharp but routine grounder to the first baseman.

I guess he was startled that Bauers didn’t strike out.

What a waste of an out.

Why not let Chourio steal and at least give Dunn a chance to hit to the right side.

And the inning dies.

This seems to be a recent issue in the Brewers/Blue Jays series. Last night 10 LOB/0-12 RISP. In 2 innings today 4 LOB/0-3 RISP. Either horrendous AB or super clutch pitching.

Yea with how easy it is to steal 2nd now bunting a guy over to 2nd should never be happening.

On a sidenote, its surprising adding just a bit to each base could make this drastic of an increase in SBs easiness.  Makes one think teams were probably being a bit too cautious prior to the rule change, like they listened to moneyball tooo much.    Also could maybe temper back the new rules a little bit as its become a bit too easy imo.  But hey, with how ridiculous pitching is these days any help to O is fine by me, so its not like I'm clamoring for it either.

The limits on throws to the bases helps too.

No concerns about hitting in hard luck after that pathetic trip through the heart of the order.
