Brewers in the midst of their fifth three game losing streak of the season.

Previous four three gamers were each followed by a win.

If the Brewers lose today and STL wins, the Brewers division lead will be under five games for the first time since May 29th.

Turang has provided most of the offense in this series.  Would be nice if a couple more guys stepped up.  I expect Perkins to be in the lineup for Chourio today.

I am hoping Logan Webb and the Giants can score some runs today and shut down the Cards today also. But sooner rather than later Brewers need another winning streak.

Save us, Myers!  Otherwise, we will be cry-ers!

Help us to beat King so afterwards we can joyfully sing!

No crying today, our ace will come to play!

So Contreras gets a needed day off opening up the 2 spot in the batting order.

Does he put Ortiz there to maintain what seems to be a desire to alternate LH and RH hitters? No, he puts Black there to make it 3 LH in a row.

Not that it makes a big difference, but it’s hard to figure out the rationale behind these orders some times.

No luck on Webb shutting down the Cardinals. They have 3 quick runs in the first to support their ace.

I'll try to pay more attention to this thread during this game. Y'all regular posters are evidently not doing enough on your own to generate a victory!  <shakes head sadly>

The Cardinals are cheating today. It’s in the 6th inning and they have the same pitcher in. I didn’t think you were allowed to do that.

Maybe it’s OK when he has a perfect game going.

This is like the kind of series the Brewers have often had  in Pittsburgh that starts a skid. The opponent seems to be putting runners on base every time you look up.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.
