Sounds like a good reason to get better hitting, you know to keep that division lead and have better hitting in the playoffs

But isn't there a difference between "I wish we would have made the lineup even better" and "this lineup is a complete joke"?

I realize this is just the IGT and so people just post whatever they want without substantiating it, but I would not characterize most of that lineup as "hilarious".

You think there’s no substantiating that today’s lineup is a bad one and it must just be “emotional IGT stuff”? 
 
The way Sanchez 3rd and Haase DHing is totally not awful, especially for a 1st place team 🙄.  Not to mention completely not replacing Yeli

As in all other trade deadline years, I'll give my opinion as to whether they should've picked up this guy or that guy, as long as I know what it would've taken to acquire him. We can make educated guesses but we never really know.

And, comparing a team giving up let's say their #5 & #17 prospects & comparing it to our #5 & 17 is really haphazard.

We're talking about the Eric Haase with a 1.118 OPS so far, right? Regardless of whether he's expected to keep that up (he won't), he has decidedly not been awful.

Also I never seen a pitcher who if he wants to waist a pitch, throw the ball 20" out of the strike zone.

On a positive note, Chourio's OPS in June/July is .897/.868. I think he's figured things out. He is 20 years old.

I don't look at pitch count a ton when the guy on the mound is getting taken deep repeatedly.
