This is a fascinating matchup.

The Westcoast version of the Evil Empire improves by adding a former stinking Cardinal, versus the plucky underdogs riding their pluckiest of underdogs.

Should be a good test for Myers with his living in the zone against this patient Dodgers squad. I hope he throws the first fastball over Ohtani's head, just to put some doubt into their minds if he will pound the zone with fastballs early in the count.

Why is Hoskins at 1B and Bauers at DH?  Hoskins is just horrible and catching anything when he needs to stretch for a ball.  Probably will be an error on Ortiz there but that is just an absolutely horrible stretch and scoop by Hoskins.
