Bibee might give others the hi-bee jibees

BUT

the Brew Crew will have nary a fanner against this Tanner!

With his pitches we will connect ... Bibee to clubhouse showers direct!

Indians will have better success trying to traverse the Serengeti

than to try to win against Freddy!

I hope Freddy can be at the top of his game today and keep it under his 4 runs in 6 innings that he has had lately.

Today presents as the toughest game in the series from a pitching standpoint.

Bibee leads Guardians SP in virtually every category at 127.1 IP | 84 ERA- | 82 FIP- | 118 K+ | 72 BB+ | 94 AVG+ | 87 WHIP+ with Cleveland going 18 W - 5 L in his 23 starts.

Three Headed Bullpen Monster of Clase / Gaddis / Smith hasn't pitched since Tuesday either so they should all be fresh and ready to go too.

Also wanted to check back in on how the Brewers have continued to bounce back strong after their respective three game losing streaks so far this year...

started at 10 W - 3 L
(0 W - 3 L) 7 W - 2 L
(0 W - 3 L) 3 W - 0 L
(0 W - 3 L)
16 W - 9 L
(0 W - 3 L) 8 W - 4 L
(0 W - 3 L) 8 W - 2 L
(0 W - 3 L) 2 W - 1 L
(0 W - 3 L)
13 W - 7 L
(0 W - 3 L) 3 W - 0 L

Following their two italicized mini swoons of 3 W - 6 L from 0427 to 0506 and 2 W - 7 L from 0704 to 0713 they responded with their two longest extended winning stretches since the beginning of the season in bold.

That's some pretty impressive resilience from a team with the second youngest position player group in MLB per BRef, a rotation that doesn't pitch enough innings, and an overworked bullpen of castoffs without their all world closer until three weeks ago.

This is why last night was such a big win.

Thanks for your continued excellent work.

I just looked at the MLB.com standings page, which includes a column for the last 10 games. Brewers are 7-3, which surprised me - that 3-game skid were the only losses. The vibe has felt more like treading water, but I guess not really.

I'm benching his butt in both my fantasy leagues, so you can bet he throws a 6 inning gem, 8 K's, 0 runs...

That's because as Brewers fans, we have become a little spoiled...

We have actually become pretty used to winning, so I think that vibe is based on that.

If you bench him and he pitches well I will kick you $2 for every start he has the rest of the season that you keep him on your bench.

Fun night at the ballpark last night. We had exchanged tickets for a Cubs game on our 10 pack for last night.

I was reminded how much I enjoy the new schedule that adds games against teams like the Guardians (and a future HOFer) like Jose Ramirez instead of still another series against the Pirates, Reds, Cubs, or Cardinals.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

The longer term vibe has been more like treading water.

The Brewers first reached 17 games over .500 on July 2  at 52-35 and have gone 18-17 since then.

Well, the people who hate alternating RHH and LHH to where Tyler Black is the 3 hole hitter are going to love the lineup tonight.

I don't hate alternating handedness.  I just hate letting it rule how a lineup is built.  If you have the horses to do it, then do it.  Having said that, the line up tonight isn't bad.  I'd move up Contreras and Adames and hit Sanchez fifth but Gary has been hitting some lately so no big deal.

I love when our announcers do Brewer games on national television and have to be brutally honest about the players like Levering saying Peralta has been wildly inconsistent instead of their usual lipstick on a pig analysis.

What's going on, does everyone on this board celebrate Shabbos?

Everybody is at the game? On vacation?

Do we possibly have “good Freddy” pitching tonight?

It would be so beneficial to the Brewers chances for him to get locked in for the remainder of the season

He's definitely on his A game tonight.  That homer by Naylor is a tip of the cap.  Wasn't even a bad pitch.
