Imagine being Chris Sale and Luis Severino right now.  Sale went from thinking he wouldn't have to pitch tonight to suddenly thinking he'd need to pitch in about an hour back to thinking he's getting the night off.  Reverse that thinking for Severino.

Back on again! Snip-snap-snip-snap.

This reminds me of that insane WS game from a few years back (Astros and maybe Dodgers?) where they traded leads the entire game. One of the craziest games I've seen.

This has been an absolute blast. Both teams just tossing everyone they can. At this point, I'd prefer to get one of these teams just because you have to figure they'll be totally spent, but if you believe in momentum, maybe not.

Mets win. Hoping Braves win game 2. Can’t see Diaz being available tomorrow after throwing 66 pitches last two days but never know I guess

Two major recent rule changes helping out the Brewers here in Game 2:

1) September roster limit at 28. Mets aren't going to be able to rest all of their starters and relievers in Game 2.

2) Position Players unable to pitch unless down by 8 or more runs. Going to have to burn some relievers. Only Severino is available as someone who's stretched out as a starter and they're now going to save him for Game 1 tomorrow.

Need a close Game 2, with the Braves coming out on top.

We may just get the Dbacks after that one. Or Sale may just have to throw 9 innings. Would you rather throw tired good pitchers? Or fresh mediocre ones? The Mets will be doing the latter for sure.

If we get the Mets, we'll get Severino, Manaea, Quintana probably. The Dbacks will throw who knows followed by Gallen and Kelly.

At this point, I'm primed and ready for October baseball!
