Brian Branch likely lost for season with torn achilles, losing Craft, Wyatt, and Jenkins sucks but seems like we are about par right now with injuries.

And Frank Ragnow's end to his retirement came to an end with a significant hamstring injury.

The NFC is up for grabs this year.

I realize the Dolphins have been playing terrible teams lately.  However, a month ago the Dolphins were in the running for worst team in the league honors and squarely looking at a top 4 pick.  Now it looks like they are less than 1 hour away from being on a 4-0 run.  Is this the first time in history a team has dramatically improved when keeping the coach and firing the GM instead?  Probably a tactic more teams (in all sports) should consider,  I still think the boob running the New York Giants should have been out the door long before Daboll.

Now a second time replay assist is wrong.  They need to fix that.

Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."

Or they can just get rid of instant replay altogether.

Josh Allen is a bad mother..... You know the rest.

He would be one of the first QBs I would pick if I was starting a team.

Well... yeah, he's gotta be pretty much a unanimous #1/#2. Probably behind Mahomes, but I'd guess some would take him over Mahomes.

It's Mahomes and Allen 1, 2 and then a pretty big gap to #3.

I think I'd go Herbert, Stafford, Burrows and after that... you could make an argument for quite a few.

3 QBs are in the top 5 in both Total QBR and QB Rating.
Love, Stafford and Maye. Love's #2 in Total QBR just behind Dak(73.3 to 73.1) and 5th in QB rating behind Maye, Stafford and Goff by a good margin and then effectively tied with Lamar).

The next 6-7 QBs could go in whatever order you want, but Love can be in that group. Maybe Lamar should be a step above as a 2X MVP, but... I'm just not sold on him.
Dak, Maye, Daniels(looking like RGIII, but that's early), Love, Goff... lots of guys I'm forgetting.

Williams is the next tier, but I think he could be in that top 5.

Going for it on fourth down has become so commonplace nowadays that coaches don't know the line between aggressive and reckless. Andy Reid may have put the final nail in the Chiefs coffin with that decision.

The Chiefs now have the same win-loss record as the Miami Dolphins.  Would have never imagined that a month ago.

Lots of crying about the Daniel Jones injury.  I don't think I'd be too upset if I was a Colts fan.  That team had already hit the predicted downhill slide, and I figure this injury likely just saved the team from a massive 4 year, 180 million dollar mistake.

But they already tacked on a 2 first round pick mistake to bring in Sauce Gardner to make a run. Ouch.

Six first half turnovers in the eagles chargers game including three on one play which I don't think I've ever seen before..

Must be using the Crisco ball.

Yeah, I don't know how we lost to this team.

Hurts is SO bad. Only player in NFL history to throw a pick AND fumble... on the same play.

And I have the Eagles as my survivor pick tonight. It was them, the Browns or the Buccs... so it'd be nice if the Eagles D found SOME way to salvage this game...

Jordan Davis is an absolute stud though.

You see what the 1-win (previously) Titans did this weekend?  They went into Cleveland and beat the Browns.

Screw all that nonsense about, "the Browns defensive line is great, they can beat anybody on a given week."  That is crap.  The Browns are terrible.

If the Packers can lose to the Browns, they can lose to any team on any given week.

NFL players play when they wanna play.  NFL teams with talent can be really good...when they want to be good.

Well...yeah, it was kind of a rhetorical question, but... not, I still don't pick against teams like The Browns.

Any team with a great front can beat anyone. That's not nonsense, that's... just Football.

The 49ers played them the week before and had drives of 16, 32 and 18 yards.

Last year, I was ridiculed for making the comment that I'd take Love over Hurts.  Hurts was playing better football at that time, but is a more of a system level QB. Hurts benefited from everyone bailing out to stop Barkley.  This year their run game hasn't been as strong.

Love has the higher ceiling and this year that is showing.

Oh... I never thought Hurts was as talented as Love. I just thought he was NOT going to screw it up for that team. The Eagles are kinda the epitome of "just don't screw it up" by the QB. Elite OL, Barkley(who is banged up, but still solid) and Green, Smith, good TE.

But Love vs Hurts? People just go by SB wins WAY too often.

Top be fair though, Hurt wasn't really screwing it up this year. He went into last nights game with 19 TDs and 2 INTs. He came out with 19TDs, 6 INTs and FUMBLE on the same play as one of the picks IN scoring position!

God that was annoying! I definitely agree Hurts is not as good of a QB as Love. I also don't think the Eagles have a very good OC. I know we constantly want MLF fired(for who... I don't know)... but I'll take MLF over whoever is running the Eagles this year.

The Eagles on offense to me feel sorta like what the Packers did with Rodgers toward the end of the McCarthy era....stale.  With the Packers, it was Rodgers basically doing everything he could to get free plays by cadence/catching opponents subbing and in turn having the most predictable offense to go along with it due to no personnel substitutions and plays that opponents flat out knew were coming with a receiving corps that was getting long in the tooth.  With the Eagles, it's the flipping tush push plus Barkley taking a step back from being superhuman....which is pretty normal for a RB that was leaned on heavily the season prior.

Phillips Rivers sighting...

https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1K914Qhmye/

Now I see reports that Leonard has a PCL sprain and Rivers may be "forced" to start.  Forced?  I think Rivers starting is what the Colts wanted all along.  If old man gets killed, I am not interested in hearing a bunch of crying about it.

I wonder what Corey Linsley and B.J. Raji are up to these days?

There is only one retired former Packer that is currently at this playing weight/conditioning:😉

Cant forget about "the grave digger", Gilbert Brown : r/GreenBayPackers

Five minutes into the game and I can already tell that the Bears are going to win. How the hell did we manage to lose to this Browns team? Forget the tie, it's that loss that will cost us the division.

They have white flagged it quite a bit since that game. But that was definitely an epic choke.

If the Packers don't win the division, you will likely be able to point to any of their losses or ties, since all of them to this point were embarssments that shouldn't have happened.

I'm just not a believer in these teams that are sitting on top without established stud QBs. I don't believe that the Pats or Broncos will beat Buffalo in a playoff game when it really comes down to it. Same thing with Chicago or Seattle. The stars will dictate things when it counts.  Not that those QBs are bad, I just don't think they're at that level yet.

A lot of blowouts in the early games today. The Bengals are in serious trouble long term. Burrow wants out and puts up this type of performance. They mailed it in today. They might as well trade Chase and Higgins for a boatload of draft picks and rebuild, if that's even possible in Cincinnati.

I'm glad this season will prevent the Bears from trading for Burrow. But Minnesota will probably be in line.
