Hoping for a solid lineup of guys today, as our Friday game looked solid and then the lineup got reset due to the weather.

We any idea if we’ll see some of those guys from yesterday going back to back??? What time do the Brewers get to the field when traveling for ST?

Well More Carlos Rodriguez excitement over the Weekend .   The guy would be great on the Banana's roster .

I don’t get the seeming vendetta here. He is clearly working through some stuff, but it’s spring training, the perfect time for that. He wasn’t ready last year, But you know what? Most of his peers aren’t either. He is one of only two JuCo 2021 draftees to start in the big leagues so far and the other one struggled, too. He was the third youngest pitcher to throw at least 50 innings at AAA. Player development doesn’t always move in a straight line, especially with pitchers. He might be the next Zack Brown, topping out at AAA, but it is too early to make that call.

Also, if you want Yoho on the roster, fine, but there is no reason to disparage Rodriguez in that argument. You know who Yoho would probably push off the 26-man roster? Connor Thomas. Returning him opens up the requisite 40-man spot without any other moves.

Yeah, average age for Carolina League pitchers was 21.6 and it was 23.1 for the Midwest League so while most of his peers were trying to figure out A/A+ Carlos was already putting up a better than average season as the youngest regular SP in the hitter friendly International League.

Between a backhand play in the hole to get Joey Weimer at first yesterday, and a sweet, quick-handed play on a bouncer up the middle to get Braylon Payne on the first play of today’s minor league game, I’m convinced Jesus Made is a shortstop.

"Made to Play" should be a Tshirt logo somewhere!

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Megill looks not himself this season so far but he is in Spring and throws 101 so it is not worrying me yet.

Him as the fulltime closer while good last season was stressful because his Knuckle Curve is a pitch that puts batters out whiffing but it also hits the ground and bounces hard and makes for a free base opportunities and lost games because of that.

I like him better as a set up guy in the 8th inning than a closer.     Craig Yoho is The Closer Who Was Promised. When he gets here we are set so I am not worried about our closer situation AT ALL.

I can see this lineup be the opening day lineup .  For sure it could very easily be our Yankees bashers group with who started today minus Tobias for Freddy.

The Ortiz on 2nd base look is a nice defensive look.

With Pat loving Mona he could see the 3rd base situation as one that will iron out when Pratt is ready to come up and a move planned to set up the future more than the present.  Dunno if  massive fortune telling like that is Pat Murphy style.

I recall Ben Sheets having career WHIP over 2.00 for spring training.

FYI- Today's game is on MLB Network, I believe.  3:00 CT start.

Mis walks  2 guys( very close pitches) followed by a wild pitch and a single.

5-2 now

also struck out Suzuki and Swanson

Shaw with a long double off the wall 5-3

Mis pulled

Sounds like a vintage Miz experience.

Last one scored after a hit given up by Stallings but yeah it wasn’t good.
