It’s probably been said, but Detroit putting Baez in cf and neutralizing his tagging skill seems like a fireable offense.

Come on ump…..ridiculous

Just read HP umps avg about 10 missed calls per 9 inning game so I'm guessing about 1% or so.  It's after 2 strikes where it really hurts.

Just wait until he tags someone out at home plate from the center field warning track and see who's laughing then.

Meadows is their CF, Vierling and Perez the backups. All on the IL. Picked up Margot, also on the IL.

Nifty double play to end it!

I like Megill getting a reset inning, especially with the day off tomorrow.

Won 4 of 6 series to start the year. Not bad at all. About time we put together a sweep, though!

I was making a joke about Baez from his Cub days.

Great series win after having to face Kobel in the opener

You mean Kueball in the opener but we won 9-1.

Cue Ball? I thought that was Kevin Youkilis nickname after he shaved his head?

Tigers managed all of one run, nine hits and seven walks over the last 22 innings in the series.

But they still tied us in runs scored this series.

We got them on run differential and winning percentage, I'll take it.

Larger point is that with Peralta, Patrick, Priester and Quintana starting to stack quality outings the pitching has rounded into shape nicely.

The Brewers 2.65 ERA since the calendar flipped to April was 3rd lowest in MLB entering today. After allowing one earned it is down to 2.54 for the month.

Tigers had the 2nd lowest April ERA at 2.45 coming into the game, but are up to 2.66 after five earned today.

How many times does Craig Coshun say, "Indeed" in a typical broadcast?

About as many times as Jerry Augustine would say, "I tell ya' what."

Both followed close behind by the Bill Schroeders' "Not even close".
