Padres at Brewers; Sunday, June 8 @ 12:05 p.m.: Freddy Peralta (2.92 ERA) vs. Ryan Bergert (2.00 ERA, 4.63 FIP)

4 runs on 13 hits is a decent game, but it’s a horrible weekend.

Any hopes that the Brewers offensive woes from May were behind them have been dashed.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Tough luck for Brice

Not so much. It was more of a looping liner and an easy catch

Horrible choice.  There are certain match ups that should not happen even when playing the show. Murphy....

The weakest skill Murphy has is handling a pitching staff and sadly it's the most important.

Catcher is an infinitely tougher position than shortstop.  And you can find someone who can hit

Play a shortstop who can hit something for godsakes.    I refuse to believe there isn’t someone out there

Ball had an .830 xBA. Tough luck for Brice

You mean down the middle hittable?

I do indeed. He had the first one timed up nicely and then straight downhill from there

I feel like on June 6th, Murphy was on the can and was looking over his roster and his eyes got wide and he put his hand over his mouth as he realized Aaron Asbhy was on his team this entire time.

I don't know, I much preferred seeing Alexander run out there time after time myself.

It is all on Yelich and Contreras really.  When Yelich and Contreras are hitting like they should the offense looks good and then when they are not well you get what we have the last few games.

Can't wait for Monasterio to come up with a chance to win it in the 9th.

Yeah that made no sense either

How do you like a 3 pitch strikeout?
