Brewer fans: INVADE WRIGLEYVILLE!

Im so tired of the Cubs fans coming to Milwaukee and over running Brewer fans in Miller. I think its time to repay the favor. If you can only go to one game this year and you live close to Chicago GO TO ONE OF THE GAMES THIS WEEKEND. How great would it be if the "First place" Brewer fans just invaded wrigley? I think this is going to be a HUGE series, know that the Cubs have won a couple here and there and they think (probably are) back in it. We need to SHUT THEM UP.

Not so sure about the big exclamation....but, I prefer to call it Miller Park South as long as they call it Wrigley North(which is the dumbest thing of all time to me, hate it.)

I'll be in the bleachers Friday and Saturday afternoon, wearing my old school Brewer jersey and hat. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

I'd go if I could get reasonably priced tickets. I just assume that's not really possible, however. I quick search online shows tickets starting a $150 for a pair. No thanks. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

I'm going Friday and Saturday. Sunday will be a game day decision.

Was going to sit in the bleachers on Friday, but traded those in for Terrace Reserved along the 3rd base line. Fewer meatheads in the reserved seats.

Then you also have to act like total jerks and other things I can't say here. That's why so many sCrub fans can find tickets up here, a lot of Brewer fans can't stand the way they act and avoid them like the plague.

i'll be in the bleachers Friday and Sunday. going to hit up the bars on Saturday and see if I can snag a ticket around gametime. We really need to put the Cubs in their place this weekend. They've been playing a little too well for my liking as of late.

Anybody else going to the game on sunday on the Trysting Place Pub's bus? Should be a blast. I'm going to be the 6'5" guy in the Fielder jersey.

I'll be there as usual friday. I know of 2 seats available in the upper deck box, 4 rows off the rail right behind home plate for face value, which is $45 each. Oh, and it is with a group of girls who are all single too.

i will be at the game on saturday, and the rest of the time at the taste of chicago. if you want to get into one of the games this weekend pretty much for free, go sunday and get the cubs bobblehead and then ebay it to pay your tickets off.

I'll be there on saturday and hopefully can take a half day on friday and maybe get some free tix through work. Anyone know of any possible brewer hangouts before the game on Saturday?

I won't make to Chicago for the game but some friends of mine in the Wrigley area used to go to the Schoolyard Tavern on Southport. I think the owner is a Marquette grad I know when I was there a couple years ago they actually had some Brewer signage behind the bar. I had a Brewer hat on and nobody even piped up with the derogatory Brewer comments.

I think the bar is about 10 blocks from Wrigley, so close but not right in the heart of Wrigleyville.

I am going down to Wrigley on Saturday looking for tickets. This is a series I don't want to miss, especially considering the fact that Cubs fans are starting to feel confident again. It'll be nice if the Brewers can squash their hopes.

Will's Northwoods is another Wisconsin bar that's about a 15-20 minute walk to Wrigley. Not too exciting on game days since it's farther away from the park, though. I used to watch Badger games there.

You'll be pretty welcomed almost anywhere you go, and there are always a decent number of Brewers fans at any number of places. Not sizable, but visible. Cubs fans may act like jerks at MP, but the rivalry really isn't too nasty in Chicago.

My favorite Wrigleyville bar was the Gingerman...not very sports-bar like, good crowd, great taps and jukebox. Basically across from Wrigley, but on the quiet side near the Metro.

Any place on Clark will be fun to hang out. I like Bernie's (Clark and Waveland) and Goose Island - just south of the park.

I'll be there Sunday in the front row of the right field bleachers. I'll be the one catching Fielder's home run. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

I didn't want to be too greedy. I thought I'd let my buddies catch a couple too. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
