All-Star Game Thread

I really like players being mic’d up during the game.  Some handle it better than others but there have been some cool moments.  Kershaw really had fun with it.

Those stupid announcers were asking Skubal questions in his windup, how distracting is that.  Skubal even said this is so weird talking to you during every pitch and trying to get outs. It turning into as being as bad as the NBA All Star game.

I don't mind during the all-star game since it's really only an exhibition game, but I don't like it at all during the regular season or playoffs.

Yea, the questions to Skubal were crazy long.  Hopefully that didn’t mess him up.  He really only gave up 1 hard hit ball.  I do agree it’s not for the regular season or any meaningful game, but in this environment it’s been enjoyable.

The trade worked out getting Willy, but I hated losing Rasmussen.  Good to see him having success after all the injuries.

Every year I’m reminded that because of the timing of their move from the AL to the NL, the Brewers league has a winning percentage of about 20% in All Star games.

I'm going all in on the conspiracy that Misiorowski was added to the AS roster to try and boost his odds of finishing Top 2 in ROTY and getting out of Milwaukee a year earlier if they don't even bother to pitch him. The whole point of him being added was because he was available to pitch.

I thought the same thing, the dumbest question possible.  Even Miso was shocked by it.  Yes 100% trying to stir the pot.  No wonder some athletes refuse to talk to media.

A couple were very close at least.  Just shows how much they need to implement this for the many terrible umpires.
