And this, on Pocket Pancake Day!

They double as a commercial water absorbent.

I expect the Sundayest of Sunday lineups today.

Ask and ye shall receive. I just checked the lineup and I think every backup besides Seigler is in.

I don't ever want this team to mail it in, but...

Yelich needs a day. I think a lot of the forum would agree.

Many have noted that Frelick still seems a little cautious. We need him to be active when baby Collins arrives.

Mona, <s>Haase</s> Jansen, and Lockridge need to stay sharp.

Turang is the one I'd like to see in the lineup, just because he's on a bit of a power surge, and I'd love to see that grow.

Just Lockridge, Jansen and Monasterio are playing today.  Maybe that is our magic ingredient, to rest players so they don't get burnt out.

I find it hilarious how people are complaining about the roof.  Yes, there was some water that leaked.  It sucked.  Guess what?  In Wrigley, or some other stadium without a roof, there might not be a game today after getting between 5 and 11 inches of rain.  Oh... and it wasn't simply a downpour -- there were some very high winds too.  I had to drive in that last night and it was not fun.

Is siegler even considered a backup at this point

That's what I'm thinking too. Yelich sits and Contreras DHes. I would think one of Frelick or Turang has the day off too, but Turang is hot right now.

Guess Turang's out too.

I said he kind of reminded me of Joey Wiemer at the plate.

Strong side platoon, facing a lefty so he will never start in that situation.

Our roster is deep and pretty flat. By the numbers, running out a Sunday lineup should matter less for us than for almost any other team.

Not a good start at all for Priester. Loses command coming in, lets Lindor get a huge lead and then gives up the dribbler and there’s an easy run just like that.
