Second time this year I have had a chance to wear my George Webb's 12 wins guarantee shirt that I received for Christmas. Hopefully a better result today.

I bought mine the day after they lost the 12th game this year.  Not in my wildest dreams did I think I would be wearing it this soon with a chance for #12 again.

I have never gotten the free burger but I will probably go buy a regular burger just to support them for their team support

I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

I still go to Webb's once or twice a year.  I think their food is decent and relatively reasonable.

I will not wait in line for more than 30 seconds for a free burger though.

A lot of Brewers fans have been talking about how they never seen a stretch like the Brewers are having now. But these last month or so is reminding me of 2011 when the Brewers were 54-49 and tied for first place on July 24 and then won 27 of their next 32 to open up a 10 game lead which they rode to the division title.

One difference there was that the losses were more spaced out and the team's longest winning streak was 7 games.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

but...if you think of it as joining the community in a celebration, it will probably be more fun.

This is the point. I doubt many of the people posting here view a free burger as worth the time and effort on its own. When you factor in experiencing the shared joy into the equation, it's less of a no-brainer. These moments are pretty rare, and it's a magnificent thing that this business makes it possible.

If that's the inside corner, this is going to be another bad day for the home plate ump.

Or, just another day at the office for a Major League Baseball umpire.

Woodruff not particularly sharp.

Woodruff will still melt every corner on the plate like liquid hot magma.

Awful strike call. Geez.

Seems the zone is the same for a player 5'8" or 6'3" as Vaughn ripps a double off the wall.
