Can we maybe focus on winning tomorrow? We have another game against the Cubs.

We have lost 3-in-a-row to these guys.

Why would you think they would win tomorrow?

Makes no sense ??

Because that's frequently how baseball works.  The Cubs fans were asking themselves how they'd ever beat the Brewers like 48 hours ago.  This is how it works.

Woke up 9 games up yesterday . Going to bed 6 games up today and lost the tiebreaker.

The division race isn’t over, folks.

It's not, but you wouldn't believe the Brewers would catch them, down 6 games at this point.

It ended up not mattering, but it was a split second from ending the game. The SB attempt on a 3-1 count when the pitcher is being very wild was kind of dumb and not worth the risk

Heck, no reason to focus on the Giants then. Might as well just fold up and get ready for next year if you think we can’t win one singular game against the Cubs with Priester pitching.

Just ridiculous logic. The Dodgers have lost 6 in a row to us. I guess no reason for them to think they can even take a game from us in the playoffs.

This was as much pressure as an August game could have, and we wilted. Shame.

I don't think we wilted with those at-bats in the 9th ... we just got another stinker game from an immature rookie named Miz!

Couldn't get the big hit with RISP for a third straight game. Basically no BABIP luck at all either.

That's three losses in four games to the Cubs. At least it wasn't in an NLDS. (Yes, not the same as the playoffs, given the games have all been in Chicago and the management of the game is not the same as in October. But that's how quickly a playoff series could crap out.)

Contreras is like 0-12 last 12 and 10 of the outs were 100 mph ev or over

Probably not, but we did erase a 5.5 game September deficit against them in 2018. It’s far from insurmountable.

I understand it’s baseball, but we really had a chance this series to basically put this division to rest, and we couldn’t capitalize.
