Well, not sure I needed to feel like playoff baseball in mid August, but apart from the Ortiz injury and two really frustrating days, giving back 1.5 games with a 7 game lead still in hand is a fine result.

And also the fastest team to 80 wins in franchise history? It’s a good place to be. Let’s have a nice home stand and keep consolidating this lead.

The Brewers site is showing Whisenhunt tomorrow and Webb on Saturday, They have Verlander going today, so at least we'll avoid him (not even sure he's good anymore, tbh, but I've heard of him...)
