I can see the value of getting on base to set up Contreras, but Durbin has had several extra base hits the last few days that could drive in runs directly instead of passing the baton.

Don‘’t like it.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

This staff is shot. We might as well have Jansen go 9 innings tomorrow to just save every arm we have.

Have you forgotten Bauers is back on the roster? :)

Something needs to be done with mlb.   We probably had the best depth pitching staff in the whole league.    And this is the biggest part/games of the season and the whole team is shot because of the ******* schedule.   Almost exclusively

honestly this is ********.     And I hate excuses.    We deserve this bye.   And this would be about the only reason that it doesn’t happen

replace bad with tired - basically the same either way and generally agreed.

Sounds weird to say since you always want to play to win every day - but in the grand scheme of things this ballgame feels like one the Brewers would almost be better off punting/getting pasted if it means saving their key pen arms.  Who do they have in the pen today that can wear 4ish innings before Seigler comes in to mop up on the mound?

I get it — I do - but it’s August 28th. Everybody is tired.

Good catch by Frelick, but one that every RF in MLB should catch.  Just not as spectacular as Rock and BA are making it out to be.

Mona at the 9 spot getting some hits would look pretty good if the guys hitting in front of him weren’t punchless.

Perkins, Durbin and Vaughn the only hitless.

We just can't get the clutch hits the last couple series.  During our streaks, we were constantly picking each other up by getting those runners in from 2nd/3rd to chip away at deficits.

We've had opportunities (last night I think we were 1/12 with RISP), we just can't close the deal.

Alright bullpen, please keep this close to give our offense a few more chances to pull this out.

I see the Giants have pulled even with the scrubs through 2

No matter what happens today, we'll have gained on the Cubs through this series. That's good.

The disappointing part is you really would have liked 3 of 4 in this one, with the Jays and Phils coming. Still time to do it, and the DBacks pen has been worked hard this series, but going to take some stepping up.

Good effort from Myers today, especially after throwing two days ago. We still need a long start from somebody stat, but it could be plenty worse.

Rough 1-1 pitch call to Vaughn. Shifted that at bat.

He still got a great pitch to hit 1-2 and swung right through it.

Every day I’m not sure how they can have a more frustrating game and every day they seem to find a new way to top the last one in a different way.
