Those are game changing at bats.     We are not going to let Ortiz hit in those situations anymore.    I’m sorry

We aren't?

I don’t think trying to re-create last Saturday’s comeback is a sound strategy.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Beat me to it. We can send Miz home for all I care, but I am taking him over Anderson 10/10 times.

I would guess Miz makes it, but I don’t love it. Anderson is probably a bubble guy, but I think his only shot is if both Megill and Hall aren’t ready.

I’d rather see Gasser than Anderson despite the unknown.

No.   I made the same decision for them.    Enough is enough

The relative quality of the offense has masked to Murphy how much he's hurt us. They aren't going to see it this season. It's too late. There are people who still believe his defense outweighs the offense like Monasterio can't throw a ball to first base.

What a waste of a game. I anticipated a loss tonight when I saw Misiorowski as the starter. He somehow only game up two runs, but he once again didn’t get many outs & that led to a beat down & an unnecessary loss to a mediocre team. That’s it for me. I will check the score later, but this one is decided. Gunsmoke time for me.

This isn’t really relevant to tonight, but did Contreras’ framing get much worse or something? Going solely on eye test, it seems really, really bad at times.

I also kind of figured on a loss tonight. Coming off a really good homestand, feels like we don’t have much success against Gray, and don’t have much confidence in Miz on the road.

Thank god for the miracle comeback last weekend or it would be three straight losses to cardinals

Turang is striking out at a much higher historical rate than in the past.

However, if that’s the trade off for the extra power he’s shown this year, I will take it.
