MLF playing chess, timeout earlier wouldve given the Bears' offense too much time after scoring another TD to goat Nixon into several personal foul calls to get them back into Fg range to end the half

Love has strict orders from MLF not to complete passes to Golden. That's why he threw that interception.

It IS kinda wild, his worst throws are targeting Golden...through seemingly no ault of Golden(though, you never really know).

The score is about what I would have expected. Some of the goofiness was wild, but cream is rising. Score out of the break and be the side with your head screwed on straight and this should be in the bag.

14-3 lead at halftime, Feels a little bit bigger than the actual scoreboard. But need to capitalize on offense again to extend the lead to reality. First possession of the 2nd Half is opportune time to do so.

They need to come out and score to start the half... OTHERWISE... the Bears can stay in their game plan and they're still right in this game.

Good teams, SUPER BOWL teams... they put you away here and make you play their game. Throwing the ball with this pass rush and #1 coming after Williams. I haven't seen that... final element this year.

The real answer is because the Bears had all three timeouts left, so they wouldn't need much time at all to drive down and score.  All it would have taken was a couple of incompletions, a sack/penalty, etc., and the Bears get the ball back with over a minute and multiple timeouts left.

If the Bears had only one or zero timeouts left, they likely would have called timeout there.  It's about how much time the Bears would need to score given how many timeouts they have left.

I think Bears are known for late comebacks but feels like we have this game, this is where our pass rush should shine. Getting a score coming out of the half would be huge. I was ready to boot Melton to the curb weeks ago...

Counterpoint: They have Caleb Williams and we have our defense. Just wasn’t concerned at all about giving them back the ball.
