Not inclined to sign up for Netflix again just to watch the game.

well they are on Christmas Day Netflix too. If you are in the Milwaukee / GB markets, the game will be broadcasted over the air.

The streaming thing needs to stop. I understand why the streaming companies do it, because it gets new subscribers who want to watch the game but it really is frustrating for fans (especially those that are already paying a ton for cable).

Good, I'll be back in WI for Christmas so I'll actually be able to watch it without having to subscribe.

Bad, I'll have to watch it with my family.

Good, my family encourages drinking on Christmas.

Take this for what it's worth.

There's no way we're playing four home games in a row so the first Lions game would be in Detroit. Start the season on the road three of the first four but finish four of five at home. Of course, at this point nothing is etched in stone.

Pretty happy about getting the Bears at 3:25 Sunday for the early gold package game. Guess they threw us a bone after the Thursday/Monday night games last season.

The slow "leaking" of the schedule each year is cringe.

this day is backwards. Why does ESPN have to have a 2 hour schedule release special when the schedule is already out? MLB / NBA do it right. its just released and thats it.

The hype around the schedule release day seems silly to me. We know the opponents and the locations, just not the order. My bias is always I prefer noon Sunday games, so I do look at that. In the NFL nobody knows who will be good or bad in May, so to play the guess the record games, is a waste of time.

I can see for Gold Package holders, they want to see who they get.

My only reactions are that I'm glad that they have a bye before Thanksgiving Eve. I wish they only had 1 Thursday night game. Playing 4 out of the last 5 at home is a good thing. Also It appears that the first 4 games are light while we potentially will be without Parsons so thats a good thing.

No worries, his agent said he’s innocent.  Now granted, that’s a LOT of charges to be innocent of…. but innocent non the less.😳

First thing I did was Google the RB free agent list…. Not too many good choices in the scrap heap.

Anyone worth a spot on an NFL roster is already on a roster.

Yikes on the charges...

At least with RBs, there are generally a few available at the end of TC for a trade.  And it normally doesn't take too much to incorporate them into the team.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Definitely doesn't look good, but we don't know his side of the story. Obviously if he is suspended, the RB position is very thin. Looking at remaining free agents, I would be interested in someone like Antonio Gibson. Its very thin though.

Man I hope there’s something we don’t know because this really sucks. He was considered one of the higher character leaders on the team, I thought. If there’s any truth to this, I feel you have to release him.

I think Trey Benson would be a nice cheao target, he’s completely buried in Arizona now that they drafted Love.

Jacobs looked washed during a lot of last season to be honest. He rallied a bit at end of year, so I held out hope he was just playing hurt, and behind a bad line. At the end of the year I wasn't sure what to think, but I thought it was very odd/negligent that they did nothing at the RB position after letting Wilson go, who was a very good back with his touches.

This is all to say that I felt it was a position that needed attention before any of this. If any of this story is true, he should be released.

If the story is true, he will be suspended, released, and jailed.

As for his performance, he has been on an every-other-year roll for 6 years.  I am hoping that this was going to be one last good year from him.

That was a offseason blunder to not address backup RB. Even if this didn't happen and Jacobs got hurt, they were stuck with Chris Brooks and praying that Marshawn Lloyd can stay healthy. I hope Gutey has been working the phones to get someone in since he learned about this allegation.
