My first impression was actually positive, but the more I looked, the less I liked it.  Especially seeing the orange lettering on the back.  Blue+Orange= U of ILL or Bears colors.  No thanks. 

Wisco didn't bug me, but the color fade around the edge of the cream lettering (blue to orange to green) adds a harshness to the color palate.

And I agree that I don't think anyone says Wisco. But, since Sconnie (another thing no one says) is trademarked, and Wisky is probably not good for the kids, they are trying to make fetch happen.

Clearly, this is to help you know how to put the jersey on... Forward should face... forward.

Fits 'city connect' idea perfectly:

- Nats -- cherry blossom

- Padres -- pink/green/yellow one

- White Sox -- Southside (also the new Chicago Bulls one is great)

- Boston -- yellow marathon

- Astros -- space city

- Texas -- lone star

- Brewers -- Brew Crew

- Royals -- fountain

- Seattle -- yellow/blue with Pilots font

The rest either look too much like an existing jersey / retro jersey or are forgettable. Usually they play it too safe IMO. The best ones are bold and unique.

I forgot about the Angels CC jerseys. I agree, they're better than the standard home whites.

Speaking for myself, I really like the Blue Jays CC jersey.

This new Brewers one isn't very impressive at all. It is what it is though.

Just saw the Braves new City Connects. That's how you do it. I like the teams that take the team's history and put a modern spin on it. They look really good and not goofy.

Also not sure how I missed this but the Tigers new two alternates are AMAZING. Navy and Orange alts now and they are a modern update to 80s/90s version of their uniform. Much more color for a team that didn't really have any alternate uniforms. Very tasteful.

I stated earlier that I liked them. I would say that it would be improved tremendously if instead of "Wisco," it said "Forward," which would actually be cool.

Also, I should clarify a couple of things. I am minimalist-traditionalist, by nature. I love that baseball's uniform traditions maintain things like stirrups, road grays, and pinstripes. But I've heard great moaning from those with different aesthetic tastes, and have come to appreciate the monotony of baseball's staid ways.

If MLB wants to promote the sport through things of this nature, I'm fine with it. As I've seen the variety of City Connects across baseball, I think the Brewers could have done much, much worse.

The official website in the uniform description says "Sconnie" as well which made me cringe.

The colors look a little better than the leak, only thing I like are the barrel man and bobber logos. Those are fun but the script looks very generic and Brush Script to me, I know they were going for the supper club vibe and the og Brewers script from the 30s but we have so many awesome fonts to use that are more Brewers than these will ever be.

i like the color scheme. The execution was lacking. @MilwaukeeBeers is correct, that Brewers on the chest would have improved it greatly. I do like the fishing bobble and the barrel man as alternate logos.
