Yes. Just because someone isn't a superstar doesn't mean they belong in the minors. Lockridge is clearly a 4th OF type. He's hitting .267, he's not a black hole.

I know that you’re a smarter poster than using a tiny sample size of an outdated stat to determine a players’ MLB roster worthiness.

Lockridge is 29 years old and has 209 big league plate appearances. Half have been with us. He has almost 2500 minor league PAs. He is the very definition of a minor league journeyman.

He’s gotten some opportunities here because of injuries and guys like Perkins suddenly falling off a cliff. On a healthy, good MLB roster, he’s not a regular 4th outfielder.

I'm actually rather curious despite the heavy use generally Ashby has had a day off between appearances. Given that usage instead of being forced into back to back games it is possible he may be able to sustain a very high number of innings compared to normal relievers since the usage is potentially more controlled and predictable

Loved the emotion coming off the mound. He upset one or two Blue Jays there.

I think it was directed at the dugout because they made him change balls twice…..

Liked the intensity out of Megill, seemed to be lacking out of this team. Let's get one more clean inning and send the Blue Jays back 7-11.
