It's not unusual for a pitcher to look at third in that situation, since it wasn't a great bunt.  But Hamilton's speed is unusual.

If the Brewers win tonight, they will only be one game back of the Cubs in the loss column. That is quite remarkable considering the significant injuries they have experienced in the first quarter of the season. And the fact that the Cubs have had two 10-game winning streaks.
