I've been meaning to set up this poll for awhile. Which team do you dislike the most in the NL Central? Personally, I've never been able to get that worked up about the Cubs, though I cannot stand the Cardinals.

Maybe you can do another poll next week about the NL team you hate the most outside the Central, followed another poll of who do you hate the most in the AL.

Then again, we already know that's the Dodgers and Yankees...

I also have an irrational hate for the Rangers, and any Dallas sports team - that was stoked during my 3 years living there. Any pain and suffering cast upon those fans is delicious.

I absolutely despise the Cubs

The Cardinals are highly annoying but the bitter hatred doesn't run as deep

I don't care about the Reds and Pirates at all

I've never understood the hate aspect of fandom. It all just feels so weird to me to hate teams or fans based on where you were born.

Then you should pat yourself on the back. Good.
It’s a lot tougher for me when other bigger markets look down on you because of size…or that they have the money to spend at their disposal and are snooty about it.

It depends on the why you hate them. I've always hated Cubs fans but not so much the players, whereas it's the exact opposite when it comes to the Cardinals. But nowadays the Cardinals, even with all the grief they've caused the Brewers and Brewer fans over the years, don't have those hateable players like Molina, Pujols and Carpenter anymore (and of course William's brother) and a douche canoe like LaRussa managing them anymore, but Cubs fans will always be ******* so my vote is for the Cubs.

Hmm. Rivalries exist around the world. I would wager that's true in every team sport. It's a basic byproduct of competition. "Hate" is perhaps a strong word, but fans generally have teams they wish to lose more than others.  Don't you?  I have friends and relatives who root for rival teams of mine - I love them, but that doesn't mean I can't also root against their teams. Compartmentalize.
