Does Gary think it’s 2 challenges per player per game?

he is unbelievably selfish with the challenges.

And he really sucks at it

I’m out for tonight.

I fear these next two weeks may bring our record back to reflect our team talent. We’ve been out over our skies for the first half of the season.

Gasser can go down tomorrow for the fresh bullpen arm.  He’s good depth to have, but not ready for the rotation right now.

Because he gave up a HR to a guy who got MVP votes each of the last two seasons?

Weirdly, I like our chances even better now. Look what they nearly did yesterday after the 3 spot conceded.

Kinda silly … we lost yesterday … we’re losing tonight

We are bad now

I’m not picking on you but just choosing this dreary occasion to raise a question that has perplexed me for years.

Why is it common to the point of being almost universal for people to refer to teams they root for as “we”? I’ve always saved that for teams I actually played on.

It doesn’t really bother me but it does puzzle me, and you won’t see me doing it.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Not because of the HR, consistency just not there yet and sending him down lets our pen not be a guy short.  Hes just not needed as much as a pen arm is, especially if Henderson is ready to take a start.

It’s a lot easier than typing the brewers every time.

I really don't think there is anyone to bring up. Right now they need guys who can eat innings and the offense is supposed to be carrying them. Gasser can actually eat some innings.. hopefully.

The offense has one damn hit. This is the main problem right now.

If an opponent goes 10+ pitches against one of our pitchers, it's usually an extra base hit at minimum.  One of our hitters does it?  Bad looking strikeout.

Turang gets 3 AB against the LHP because Murphy insists on keeping Turang at the top of the order against LHP despite a complete inability to hit LHP.

Any chance the reds would trade Lodolo to us?

He does not look like this against other teams apparently.

Scrappy little fighters who've earned every nickel they've scrounged up in the working man's streets!

If the Reds bullpen is as bad  as the Cubs bullpen the Brewers will not be scoring tonight.

Didn’t realize Henderson only threw 50 pitches, probably one more start in the minors then.  Maybe that saves Gasser for now, but the pen can’t keep playing a man short with 6 starters up.

Seems pretty clear to me this is one of those offensive slumps every team goes through at various points of the year. And in the midst of it, they've still managed to win a lot of games.

They'll have to correct it, but this team won five in a row three days ago. Deep breaths.

C'mon, Gasser wasn't that bad.

The real problem is that our offense is just pathetic.
